Unused Content

Boo-boo has three unused animations, those being "G_talk00" and "G_talk01", where he talks into the mic, and "B_return", which is his equivalent of Ecto releasing a tap. The naming convention of the former two, and the shape of Boo-boo's guitar in them, suggest he was supposed to be playing the guitar (and possibly be the player character) rather than be on bass. On the other hand, Boo-boo and Ecto share tiles, with Boo-boo's glasses and bass guitar overlapping Ecto's tiles. This, alongside an unused sprite of Ecto talking into the mic, suggests these animations were actually meant for Ecto, but for some reason were edited into Boo-boo instead. While one could construct talking sprites for Ecto with these, one of the frames is missing the eyes.

Spooky's full body is always obscured by the drums, leaving his ghostly tail invisible. He and Ecto also have some test animations. Spooky's drum set in these test animations is oddly brighter than normal.

The prologue to Big Rock Finish has a different design across regions. The original design was used in all regions in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, however.

Unused Content

Boo-boo has three unused animations, those being "B_return", which is his equivalent of Ecto returning to position if the player does not strum, and "B_talk00" and "B_talk01", where he talks into the mic. These talking animations are now properly labeled and his guitar is redrawn into a bass guitar.

Spooky's full body is always obscured by the drums, leaving his ghostly tail invisible.
