Big Rock Finish (ショートライブ?, Short Live) is the 2nd Rhythm Game of the fifth stage (22nd overall) in Rhythm Heaven and the 2nd of Shop No. 2 (95th overall), costing 3 Flow Balls, in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Gameplay
This game is about the Tiny Ghosts, who are rocking out at a late-night show on a table. The player is Ecto, the white ghost, who must strum in sync with Boo-boo, the green ghost next to him. The player is supposed to strum and jump in sync with the ghost next to it. Spooky drums in the back. The player must listen to the count, so the two ghosts can strum at the same time. There are 8 songs in total, known as "Big Rock Finish A" to "Big Rock Finish H", played in a pseudo-random order.

- Tap (Hold): Prepare to strum
- Tap (Release): Cancel
- Flick: Strum the guitar
Rhythm Heaven Megamix
- Ⓐ/Tap: Strum the guitar
Timing Display
- Perfect!/Ace!: The player strums at the same time as Boo-boo, prompting the crowd to applaud. A shout of "Thank you!" from the band is heard.
- Early!/Late!: The player strums slightly off the beat. The pitch of the guitar is slightly higher.
- Miss...: The player either strums really off the beat, or not at all. The crowd boos in disappointment as someone from the band clears his throat.

- The crowd consists of ghosts of many different kinds, one of which is a Sneaky Spirit.
- The songs in this game are played in a semi-random order, from a set of four variations. "Big Rock Finish A" is always first, and "Big Rock Finish H" is always last, however.

- The music in Remix 7 is an extended version of "Big Rock Finish A".
- While strumming, a voice going "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah, yeah!" is heard. In Rhythm Paradise, this voice is dubbed in the French, German, Italian and Spanish versions, while the Music Corner version has all the voices removed. The English version is used in all versions of Rhythm Paradise Megamix, though the count's various dubs are retained.
- This game contains the fastest song in the franchise, with "Big Rock Finish C" having a BPM of 290.
- A glitch can be performed in Rhythm Heaven Megamix by playing the game, and then pausing and quiting the game during "Big Rock Finish C". This cause the timing window to be larger than usual while playing any other game, and can be canceled by playing Big Rock Finish again and getting to the end, or by resetting the game entirely. Although every song alters the timing window, "Big Rock Finish C" has the largest, and most noticeable increase. Built to Scale is the only other game to alter the timing window, and therefore allow this glitch to be performed.
- Bunny Hop, Rat Race, Quiz Show, Fan Club 2 and this game are the only games to receive remixed music in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
