Betty (イヨカン?, Iyokan) is one of Tibby's friends in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Description
Betty is a light-orange creature similar to her friend Tibby. She has a distinctive heart shape on her body, and she take her appearance seriously.
Story
After helping Bertram with his fogged glasses, Tibby and the player move on to Comet Land, where they encounter Betty. She says that the other day, she heard a spooky voice coming from Mamarin Palace, after which the skies got gloomy, and people started getting depressed, which is all getting to her. She believes she's lost her flow as a result[1]. Tibby offers to help fix it, which impresses her, as she sees him as being more grown up than how she remembers him[2]. Tibby appears to take this as the beginning of a romance[3], though he doesn't admit his crush to Betty[4]. This continues with Tibby taking Betty's comments as things improve, and seeing them in a more romantic light, as he and the player clear each of the Rhythm Games, while she appears confused. After clearing them all, Betty is feeling like herself again[5], and Tibby tries asking her out on a date[6], then plays it off as a joke after she expresses confusion[7]. In exchange for the All Clear, Betty opens the way to Planet Land[8], and compliments Tibby for how much he's matured[9]. She then leaves as she has an appointment for a Heavenly Cut at the salon[10]. During the Gameplay Counts at the end of the story, Betty is seen blowing bubbles with her friends.
Betty appears in Rhythm Tengoku The Best Plus Comic. In 31テビリとイヨカン (Tibby and Betty), she comes to Tibby to complain about how Colin ate all her snacks, how Bertram scribbled on the book she gave him, and that Philip stood her up on her date. Tibby comments on each occurance, saying Philip is always busy with baseball practice, but also secretly worried about the "date" part.

Trivia
- Tibby mentions that he will someday grow up into a palace just like his mother[11]. As Betty is of the same species, it is implied she will also grow up into a palace herself.
