Built to Scale (組み立て^?, Kumitate) is the 1st Rhythm Game of the first stage (1st overall) in Rhythm Heaven.

The arrange version, Built to Scale 2, appears in the seventh stage of Rhythm Heaven.

Gameplay

The player shoots a rod through the center of the squares that pass by each other to create a Widget. To rhythmically succeed in this game, the player must follow the pattern "do-re-mi-fa-sol" with the music, flicking on "sol". In the middle part of the game, the screen becomes dark with a spot light, forcing the player to rely on the audio more than the visuals.

Controls

Tap (Hold): Prepare to flick
Tap (Release): Cancel
Flick: Flick rod

Timing Display

Perfect!/Ace!: The rod hits both squares and connects them with a satisfying clink.
Early!/Late!: The rod knocks the squares down, and only the rod itself goes down the conveyor belt.
Miss...: The squares pass by and roll into the nearby slots, disappearing through them. If the rod is flicked at the wrong time, it flies offscreen really quick.

This game is visually similar to Polyrhythm from Rhythm Tengoku. Built to Scale in Rhythm Heaven Fever combines aspects of both games.
This game and Built to Scale 2 are the only 3D games in the series to not return in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
