In this game, the player controls Translator Tom, whose mission is to translate what the Martian is saying. This is done by repeating the pattern of the Martian's speech.
Perfect!/Ace!?: Translator Tom translates the Martian's words properly. The Martian nods. Ground Control is amazed.
Early!/Late!?: Translator Tom translates properly, but in a high-pitched voice.
Miss...?: Translator Tom fails to translate, and a red question-mark is displayed instead. If the player fails from the beginning, an alternate translation is given, which makes the Martian look bad. The Martian then shakes its head in disapproval. Ground Control falls asleep. Some lines change if the played messed up a translation before them.

People of Earth,
Hey, carbon blobs!
how do you do?
You are weird looking!
I live on Mars.
I am your ruler now.
...Right?
Haha!♥
Moohoohaha!
We're glad you made it.
Hoping for...
You want to meet
mercy?
my leader?
Not a chance.
...Gotcha.
Heehee!♥
Bow, worms!
Last time...
Now I am...
Earthlings visited...
hungry!
you left...
Are you done?
behind PORK RICE BOWLS!
Hurry up and leave!
Mars will never...
I care not for...
be the same.
your species.
Kidding!
But I hunger.
Don't be a stranger!
So hungry!
...Gotcha.
Bye!♥
Begone, insects!

Ground Control to Translator Tom
Erm, we couldn't quite make that out... Who what now? Our new friend looks...dissatisfied.
Eh. Passable.
You've bridged the gap between Earth and Mars! We even caught the mumbly bits. They like pork rice bowls? Hey, WE like those too!
Some Earthling astronauts left this delicious dish behind when they visited Mars. Everyone here loved it! I hear that there's a pork-rice-bowl restaurant opening here next month!
The results caption "Ground Control to Translator Tom" is a reference to the song Space Oddity by the late David Bowie, specifically the lyrics "Ground Control to Major Tom".
Ground Control makes an appearance in the opening cutscene to Intro Games in WarioWare: Get It Together!, where they are startled after a giant Wario nose passes by one of their satellites. A glitchier version of this cutscene is used for Anything Goes, which includes the Traveler from an unrelated cutscene among the crew. In the movie Roll Credits, the researchers are given names: Doc, Kevin, Richard, Adam, Zach, Thomas, Furukawa, and Chuck[1].
