Philip (オモナガ?, Omonaga) is one of Tibby's friends in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Description
Philip is a light-blue creature similar to his friend Tibby. He enjoys playing baseball with his friends[1] and considers himself the MVP of his team[2]. He is known to make chili[3] and claims he's good at other things[4]. He has a bright and cheerful personality.
Story
After Tibby and the player help out Betty, they move on to Planet Land where they encounter Philip. He tells them about how he heard a spooky voice, then the skies turned gloomy, making it too dark to see, and so he and his friends are unable to play baseball[5] and he has lost his groove[6]. Philip mentions that he heard the gloomy situation may have something to do with Tibby's Mom[7], and that if something's wrong with her, the rest of Heaven World's residents will get overwhelmed. He is sure though that Tibby will be able to fix the flow[8], which he and the player indeed do by clearing four Rhythm Games. In the process, they make things bright and shiny, making it possible to see Mamarin Palace in the distance[9]. Upon clearing all the games, the skies clear up and Philip unlocks the door to The Fourth Gate in exchange for the All Clear[10]. Philip can now get back to playing baseball[11], assures Tibby that the queen will be alright[12] and invites him over for chili after the whole situation blows over[3]. During the Gameplay Counts at the end of the story, Philip is seen blowing bubbles with his friends.
Philip also appears in Rhythm Tengoku The Best Plus Comic. In 28テビリとオモナガ (Tibby and Philip), Tibby meets with Philip, who tells him that he started learning ballroom dancing. He mentions the classroom is on the fourth floor of the Songbird Tower, how the teacher's neck twists around when things go well, and how his arms start stretching. He mentions how the teacher's neck stretches if he messes up, and that he sometimes wears a bird beak. Tibby reluctantly moves away. In 31テビリとイヨカン (Tibby and Betty), Betty comes to Tibby to complain about her friends being mean, in Philip's case that he stood her up on her date. Tibby comments on each occurance, saying Philip is always busy with baseball practice, but also secretly worried about the "date" part. In 33レスラーとファン (Wrestler and Fans), Philip appears alongside his friends for the Wrestler Fan Photo Session.

Trivia
- Tibby mentions that he will someday grow up into a palace just like his mother[13]. As Philip is of the same species, it is implied he will also grow up into a palace himself.
- While most details remain consistent across languages, some get changed. For example, in Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+ and Rhythm Sesang: The Best+, Philip offers to treat Tibby to takoyaki as opposed to chili[14]. In the French version of Rhythm Paradise Megamix, he instead offers katsudon[15], while the German and Italian versions don't specify what he intends to cook. In the Spanish version, he instead says he'll greet Tibby in his best clothes as opposed to cooking something[16].
- Ironically, he seems to only wear a bandana.
