Early Builds
The E3 2011 Build used a higher pitched swinging sound for when the player swings their racket[1].
Unused Content
There is an unused sprite of a Threefish in Air Rally, likely meant as a background object.
Regional Differences
Usually, the prologue used between Rhythm Heaven Fever and the English version of Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise, aside from remixes, is identical. For some reason, the English version of Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise has the one for Air Rally changed to move the logo down by 12 pixels.
While Rhythm World Wii otherwise uses the English dub for this game, the "2", "3" and "4" voice clips have their volume altered, creating a fade in with every count. The "1" voice clip was not changed however, making the first count in the game sound rather awkward. The modified English dub in Rhythm Heaven Megamix is used with no further changes in Rhythm Sesang: The Best Plus, effectively reversing this change.

Early Builds
In the April 2, 2015 Nintendo Direct build of Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+, the song for Air Rally was slightly faster and higher pitched than in the final build[2].
Unused Content
The debug menu of Rhythm Heaven Megamix contains a reference to RVLバドミントン02 (rvl_badminton_02?), suggesting the presence of an arrange version of Air Rally, being after the used short and long versions. However, with the entry being labeled with a number rather than a letter, there being no pre-existing arrange version of Air Rally and no other data anywhere for this version, this entry is most likely the result of the developers copy-pasting and simply not removing the excess entry.
There are unused strings for an alternate Practice in Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+, possibly intended for Air Rally 2. The last three strings are directly reused in Air Rally's Practice, as such the official translation is compared next to the unofficial one. In the final game, Forthington going farther out is never practiced unlike in Rhythm Heaven Fever. It is possible these strings were meant for just that.

The unused sprite of a Threefish still exists in Air Rally 2.
Regional Differences
Some of the voice clips for this game in Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+ are mistakenly changed from the original, and two English voice clips are also mistakenly used. All of these mistakes are fixed when playing with Japanese voices in all other versions of Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
