Early Builds
This was one of the very first games to be made for Rhythm Heaven, after Tsunku♂ tore apart the first sample of the game, then gave the concept for what eventually became Frog Hop[1]. Despite this, he did not expect the game to be about frogs shaking their hips while recording the song for it, and laughed upon first seeing it[2].
Miscellaneous
In Rhythm Heaven, after The Frogettes spin in Frog Hop 2, they suddenly get visible sleeves. Normally, only The Sax Player is supposed to have sleeves. This was fixed in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Regional Differences
The lip syncing for The Bandleader is different in each language.
In Rhythm Tengoku Gold, there is an extra "Yahoo" during the line "(Don't you know that that is just so square?)", but in the international versions, this was removed. It was restored in all versions of Rhythm Heaven Megamix. This "Yahoo" is present in all versions of Jumpin' Jazz, in which case it may have been removed to differentiate the two a little more.
Rhythm Heaven Megamix

Unused Content
The Bandleader and orange frogette cannot bump into each other. There are sprites of them recoiling from a bump, regardless.
The Sax Player twirls his saxophone during a turn instead of spinning himself. There are unused sprites of the Sax Player spinning himself, regardless.
Regional Differences
The lip syncing for The Bandleader is different in each language, as before. This is not reflected in Final Remix however, which uses the Japanese version's lip syncing in all languages. The game also still uses the region-specific lip syncing regardless if the voices are set to Japanese.
