Unused Content

According to the debug menu of Rhythm Heaven Megamix, three trial versions of Quiz Show was planned. Although this would imply an Endless Game was to exist as well, there is no indication Quiz Special was intended to return in this game. That said, there are updated yet unused sprites of The Host's and Contestant's heads from Quiz Special, as well as the score counter.

There is also unused text in Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+ for The Host's introduction to each trial.

Another remnant of this is that Quiz Show also loads the sound effect group files "GROUP_EPILOGUE_HI_LEVEL" (the Superb jingle used when clearing a trial) and "GROUP_ENDLESS" (containing sound effects typically used in gate trials), which go unused.

There are also unused patterns in the game.

Regional Differences

In Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+, the sign on top of the screen shows "QUIZ", like in Rhythm Tengoku. In other regions, it shows The Host's face and some music notes instead.
