You're controlling the Clap Trap Doll who needs your help to protect it from a big hand. The beats of this game go when you hear three bells, it would mean that you must press A button of both controllers to grab the huge hand and defect yourself before it hits you. When you press the button too early or late, it will hit the doll's head and gets a lump. If you get three lumps, the game will end and give a game over screen. There are various objects in this game coming after the huge hand, and there are three of them so far: A cat paw, a branch with a monkey in it and a green stalk.

Difficulty
The player has the option to select which difficulty they want in the Megamix version of the game: Easy (Saffron), normal (Saltwater) or Hard (Paprika). Saffron's Challenge: Stop the hand 10 times, the hand will come normally. Saltwater's Challenge: Stop the hand 15 times, the hand may come normally or may come fast. Paprika's Challenge: Stop the hand 20 times, the hand may come normally, fast or slowed down.
The players control the Clap Trap Doll, who must stop karate chops aimed at the head. To do this, the players must clap its hands at just the right moment to stop the karate chops. Attacks are signaled by three beats, then the players must pause for a beat and then clap. If successful, the attack is blocked and the game continues. If failed, the karate chop hits the doll on the head and creates a bump. Three bumps result in a game over, and as such these bumps act as lives.

Trivia
*The high score counter only goes up to 99 in Megamix version.
*This is the only Endless Game that was changed from a two player Endless Game from Rhythm Heaven Fever to a single player Endless Game in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
*In Megamix, there is an expression added where a Clap Trap Doll barely grabs a hand. However in Fever, It doesn't make that expression at all.

In Rhythm Heaven Fever, P1 controls the doll's right hand while P2 controls its left. In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the single player controls both hands simultaneously. The hands remain color coded for each player regardless.
Trials
The player has the option to select which difficulty they want in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
*Saffron Trial: Stop the karate chops 10 times. It comes down at a normal speed.
*Saltwater Trial: Stop the karate chops 15 times. It comes down at a normal or fast speed.

Clap Trap (しらはドール?, Shirawa Doll) is the 1st Two-Player Endless Game in Rhythm Heaven Fever, unlocked with 1 Duo Medal, and the 75th Rhythm Game seen at The Fourth Gate and can be unlocked as an Endless Game by beating the Gatekeeper Trio's trials in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

Gameplay

The players control the Clap Trap Doll, who must stop karate chops aimed at the head. To do this, the players must clap its hands at just the right moment to stop the karate chops. Attacks are signaled by three beats, then the players must pause for a beat and then clap. If successful, the attack is blocked and the game continues. If failed, the karate chop hits the doll on the head and creates a bump. Three bumps result in a game over, and as such these bumps act as lives.

As the game progresses, the tempo changes dramatically and pauses get longer, often playing ambient noise, and the doll occasionally taking a breath during long pauses. The karate chops start off with a human hand, then a cat's paw, a tree branch with a monkey on it, and finally a green onion.

In Rhythm Heaven Fever, P1 controls the doll's right hand while P2 controls its left. In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the single player controls both hands simultaneously. The hands remain color coded for each player regardless.
