Template:Game-NavTemplate:Minigame infoboxCharging Chicken (チキンレース Chicken Race) is a new minigame that appeared in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. The player controls as Mr. Chicken who is in the car. All you have to do is to charge his car until it's fueled up to 4-16 beats while releasing A button to fire his car in time and reach to another land, but be sure to fuel it in time, the road platforms will fall apart after reaching another one, and when you'll out of fuel, you will fall into the sea and lose a life or get a game over screen. This will also give a game over if it fuels chicken's car too much, causing it to explode. This minigame appears in Gate 3, and can be unlocked as an Endless Game after beating all three levels of it.
Gameplay
The player plays as a chicken racer that must press and hold A button to charge his electric car and then release it in time when his car is fueled up to 4-16 beats. After that, he will go and reach to another land while the platforms will fall apart when you touch any of them. If it fuels his car too much, the car will explode and make him a roast chicken, giving a game over. Each counting beat have a different speed timing, the last counting numbers will have a muted music and the counting numbers won't show up during some levels. The scenery will change the background sometimes to day and night, space or ever another dimension if you reach high level.

- Hold A: Charge his car

Touch Mode
- Hold Stylus: Charge his car
- Release Stylus: Charge!
Hit or Miss
- Hit: The chicken's car is fueled and can reach to another land.
- Barely: The chicken's car is fueled but if it's fueled too early or late while reaching the land, it will fall down to the sea instead of stopping on a land or on a platform that will fall apart too.
- Miss: The chicken's car is still fueling and nothing is happening, but it will explode if it continues charging too much, and the chicken will turn into a roast chicken.
Difficulty

- When the chicken falls in the water, his scream is a sped up version of the Wandering Samurai's yell when he does a combo in the Wii version of Samurai Slice, or when he slices a huge evil spirit in Super Samurai Slice.
- This game is similar to a rhythm toy, Toy Car in Rhythm Heaven Fever.
