Pajama Party |
Let's be honest: everything, including pajama parties, is better with monkeys. ESPECIALLY pajama parties. |
Rhythm Heaven Megamix |
Pajama Party (パジャマズ?, Pajamas) is the 4th Rhythm Game of Star Land (66th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Gameplay
In this game, the player controls Mako, a girl who is having a pajama party with a group of monkeys on a giant bed. The player must jump in unison with the monkeys. The monkeys either jump column-wise (resulting in three jumps) or row-wise (resulting in five jumps). At two pivotal moments, the entire group throw their pillows up into the air. If done successfully, this transitions into a Dreamland state, where everyone is dressed up as royalty, with balloons, sunfish, tuna or galleons flying in the sky.
Controls
- Ⓐ/Tap: Jump/lie down
- Ⓑ (Hold)/Tap (Hold): Prepare to throw
- Ⓑ (Release)/Tap (Release): Throw
Timing Display
- Perfect!/Ace!?: When jumping, Mako jumps high along with the monkeys. When throwing, Mako holds it down and throws it high along with the monkeys, transitioning to Dreamland and back. When lying down, Mako falls asleep on the pillow along with the monkeys, before they all wake up in unison.
- Early!/Late!?: When jumping, Mako does only a small jump. When throwing, Mako throws the pillow, but not very far. When lying down, Mako mistimes it. In all cases, she looks embarrassed.
- Miss...?: When jumping, Mako does a very small jump. When throwing, Mako throws her hands up as the pillow falls on the ground. If the player does nothing, Mako stumbles over with a shocked look. When lying down, Mako crashes onto the pillow in an odd pose accompanied with a cymbal sound. If the player does nothing, Mako remains up with a sad look on her face.

Your monkey jumps were lacking. The pillow toss could use some fluffing. You sure could do with some rest... | |

A slumber-party staple. Pillows are friend, cuddle partner, and ammunition. Also, at the end of the party, you can even sleep on one (if it seems clean enough). |
