In this rhythm game, the player plays as the cadet on at the end of the line. The player must follow the [[Sarge|general]]'s orders. There are four commands: to march, stop marching, face left, and face right. The player must perform these with proper timing. After a while, the cadets will be dragged offscreen, ending the game.

|米 つんく♂さんのダンスレッスンは、本当に参考になりました。そもそも僕らはダンスに関しては素人ですし、踊るのがもともと苦手なメンバーもいましたし。で、リズムに合わせて踊って、かみんなで最後にキメポーズ!というときに、何度やってもタイミングがずれちゃうスタッフがいたんです。あ、またすれちゃってるみたいな(笑)。でも、それを見ていると、絵的にすごく楽しかったんです。そんな楽しさをフィーチャーできないかと考えて、つくったのが「マーチャ」です。ダンスレッスンで学んだ一体感の楽しさも、このゲームで表現できたのではないかと思います。

Marching Orders (マーチャ?, Marcher), is the 3rd Rhythm Game in Stage 1 (3rd overall) in Rhythm Tengoku and the 1st of Comet Land (67th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

The arrange version, Marcher 2, appears in Technician in Rhythm Tengoku.

In this game, a team of Squadmates is undergoing marching training while following Sarge's orders. The player controls the rookie at the end of the line. There are four commands that Sarge gives:

  • March! (すすめ!?, Susume!)
  • Halt! (とまれ!?, Tomare!)
  • Left! (左!?, Hidari!)
  • Right! (右!?, Migi!)

Although the voice clips are more complicated, the player must perform these with proper timing along with the other squadmates. Just before the game ends, the squadmates move offscreen, still marching as the game ends.

Marching Orders (マーチャ?, Marcher), is the 3rd Rhythm Game in Stage 1 (3rd overall) in the 2P mode of Rhythm Tengoku (Arcade).

The arrange version, Marcher 2 2P, appears in Stage 4 in the 2P mode of Rhythm Tengoku (Arcade).

It plays the same as the 1P version, but the two players control the two middle Squadmates in the lineup.

Marcher 2P TempoUpExtra3.png (マーチャ 2P TempoUpExtra3.png?, Mācha 2P TempoUpExtra3.png) is the 3rd Rhythm Game of Extra (23rd overall) in the 2P mode of Rhythm Tengoku (Arcade).

It plays the same as the 1P version, but the two players control the two middle Squadmates in the lineup.

つんく♂ 『リズム天国』にとって、とてもエポックな作品ですね。このゲームができるまでは、かなり試行錯誤を繰り返していたんですけど、これができてからは、どんどん応用が広がつていって、いろんなゲームができていったんです。「マーチャ」でまさに革命が起こったと言っていいでしょようね。 Tsunku♂: This is a very epochal work for "Rhythm Tengoku". We went through a lot of trial and error before we were able to make this game, but after it was made, the applications became more and more extensive, and various games were created. I think it would be fair to say that "Marching Orders" was truly a revolution.

小黒 このゲームができたのは、任天堂のスタッフのみなさんに、ダンスレッスンを受けていただいたのがキッカケだったんですよね。 Oguro: The reason we were able to make this game was because everyone at Nintendo took dance lessons.

米 つんく♂さんのダンスレッスンは、本当に参考になりました。そもそも僕らはダンスに関しては素人ですし、踊るのがもともと苦手なメンバーもいましたし。で、リズムに合わせて踊って、かみんなで最後にキメポーズ!というときに、何度やってもタイミングがずれちゃうスタッフがいたんです。あ、またすれちゃってるみたいな(笑)。でも、それを見ていると、絵的にすごく楽しかったんです。そんな楽しさをフィーチャーできないかと考えて、つくったのが「マーチャ」です。ダンスレッスンで学んだ一体感の楽しさも、このゲームで表現できたのではないかと思います。 Yone: Tsunku♂-san's dance lessons were really helpful. We were all amateurs when it came to dancing, and some of us were not very good at it to begin with. So we danced to the rhythm, and then we all did the finishing pose! At the time, there was a staff member whose timing was off no matter how many times they tried. It was like, "Oh, I'm off again!" (Laughs) But it was so much fun to watch them do it, from an artistic point of view. I thought, "Why don't we feature that kind of fun," and created "Marching Orders". I think we were able to express the fun of togetherness that we learned in the dance lessons in this game.
