Air Rally is the 3rd Rhythm Game of Honeybee Land (3rd overall) in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Air Rally is the 3rd minigame that appears in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. It is the short variation of Air Rally from Rhythm Heaven Fever. In this game, Baxter and Forthington fly above a desert-like area with a slow paced song playing in the background.
The long version, Air Rally 2, appears in Stage 3 in Rhythm Heaven Fever and Honeybee Tower in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
The normal variant later appears in Honeybee Tower under the name Air Rally 2.

The player controls Baxter, a dog in a red airplane. Forthington starts off by serving the shuttlecock at Baxter. The player must keep hitting it back by pressing A button in constant beats of two. Forthington might also signal the rhythm to change to a slow beat of four then return to the normal two beat after counting.
The game revolves around Baxter & Forthington having a game of badminton while flying in their planes. Every time Forthington hits the birdie, the player, who controls Baxter, must hit it back on the following beat. Forthington sometimes says "Ba-bum bum bum!" before hitting a birdie, indicating the player must wait two beats before hitting it back.
*Normal rhythm: Hyah, hyah, hyah, hyah... (Nya, nya, nya, nya...) A standard slow rhythm.
*Altered: Bu-bum bum bum! (Lob shot) A slowed down beat of fours.
*Back to normal: Two, Three, FOUR! (Two, Three, Go!) The rhythm reverts to normal again. Only said after a lob shot is done.
Notice that hitting shuttlecock from different distances does not appear in this variant, excluding the final hit, where Forthington catches the shuttlecock.

Trivia
Trivia
*A Blue Bird makes a cameo in the superb rating screen.
*At the start of the game, a flock of geese can be seen flying by. Sometimes, this flock is replaced by Captain Blue Bird and five members of The Blue Birds. One member is also seen in the Superb epilogue.
*The names Baxter and Forthington are a pun on "back and forth", referencing how the birdie is hit back and forth in the game.
*Unlike Air Rally 2, the game does not have the planes distance each other as a visual distraction. Forthington only moves at the very end, to catch the birdie.
Video
**Despite this, the planes are shown at a distance in Rhythm Heaven Megamix Demos preview of the full game. In it, Air Rally's appearance matches the patterns for Air Rally 2 in Final Remix, but the visuals match the short version instead.
