[[File:Play-yan Appear in The Dazzles DS.png|thumb|146x146px|Play-Yan in the DS version.]]
*The characters in this game are designed after the real-life group [[generasia:Ciao Bella Cinquetti|THE POSSIBLE]], who also sung [[Love Ooh Ooh Paradise]] in Japanese.
[[File:Play-yan Appear in The Dazzles 3DS.png|thumb|176x176px|Play-Yan in the 3DS version, along with the girl's cropped arm.]]
*The official artwork for the characters from ''[[Rhythm Heaven]]'' has a few differences from the in-game designs:
*[[Play-Yan]] from ''[[Rhythm Tengoku]]'s'' [[Night Walk]] can be seen hanging off one of the stars that periodically appear from jumping to the beat in sync to the music.
**Most girls have different hair colors.
* In the official artwork for The Dazzles in Rhythm Heaven, there are a few design errors;
**All of the girls have white undershirts, while the game lacks this design choice.
** The blond girl is a brunette instead. In addition, there is no stripe on her dress.
**The official artwork for ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]'' meanwhile shows the player character with a turtleneck dress, hiding her neck.
** The hair of the glasses-wearing and orange-haired girls are red instead of their respective colors (brown and orange).
*[[Play-Yan]] makes a cameo in this game, hanging off the stars that appear on certain poses.
** The player's Dazzle has lighter hair than what she looks like in-game. She also lacks her unique brown eyes.
*In ''[[Rhythm Heaven]]'', the [[Practice]] session of [[The Dazzles]] features the girls in blue training hoodies. The [[Try Again]] epilogue features these same outfits, while in ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]'', they wear pink tracksuits instead. However, during the game's [[Practice]] in ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]'', they wear the same red dresses as they do in the real game.
** All of the girls have white undershirts, despite the game lacking that design choice.
*In ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]'', the crouches during the middle part of the song (starting from "When we talk, I go...") are done one beat earlier than in ''[[Rhythm Heaven]]''. The pose ending this section (on "Singing for you.") no longer triggers the stars, likely so that they don't overlap with the [[Skill Star]].
** Every Dazzle except the hair clip-wearing girl have eyelashes.
==Development History==
***This was likely excluded in-game because of the graphical limitations of the DS.
{{Main|The Dazzles/Development}}
* Similarly to the above trivia, Rhythm Heaven Megamix's official artwork of one of The Dazzles shows her with a turtleneck dress instead of one which shows her neck.
*There is an unused Superb Screen for Rhythm Heaven's unused graphics.[[File:Dazzles_unused_sprite.png|thumb|right|The first of the textures in the unused 3D model.]]There are unused sprites in ''[[Rhythm Heaven]]''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s rating screens, showing the girls with pink dresses as opposed to red dresses with a white stripe. There is also an unused 3D model in the game which only contains textures of four of the girls wearing the pink dresses. Interestingly, the [[Pop Singer]] in the ''[[Rhythm Heaven]]'' version of [[Fan Club]] wears a pink dress exactly like the unused ones.
**A remnant of this old design can still be seen in the OK epilogue in ''[[Rhythm Heaven]]'', as one of the girls is wearing pink shoes as opposed to red, and on the menu icon, where the girl is wearing a pink dress.
*This is one of a few games to get new designs in ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]''. The Dazzles have been redesigned to match the appearances of the real-life singers, [[THE Possible]]. The game was also switched to a horizontal layout.
*In the Try Again epilogue in ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]'', the Dazzles are wearing different, pink training outfits instead of the light blue training outfits from ''[[Rhythm Heaven]]''. Interestingly, they don't wear these outfits in the practice section like they did in the original version of the game.
*The dazzling pose near the "Singing for you." line no longer triggers the stars in ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]''. Yellow spotlights are also added so it will help the player follow the cues properly.
* In the Megamix version, the right arm of the bottom middle Dazzle crops through her hair.
* There is a glitch in the Megamix version. If the player holds down on the crouching cue but doesn’t release at the posting one, the player should still be holding during the next crouching cue. The spotlight still appears even though the previous cue hasn’t been followed correctly.

The Dazzles (ボックスショー?, Box Show) is the 4th Rhythm Game of the third stage (14th overall) in Rhythm Heaven and the 1st of Shop No. 2 (94th overall), costing 12 Flow Balls, in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

The arrange version, The Dazzles 2, appears in the seventh stage of Rhythm Heaven.

Gameplay

This game is about a girl who is auditioning for the TV hit group The Dazzles. The playable character follows the rest of the girls in rhythm and is supposed to be the last to crouch down in the ice-cube tray-like set of boxes. The player must follow a "Three, Two..." cue to crouch, then pose following one of a few patterns.

In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the stage is rotated to account for the new resolution. While crouching, a yellow square appears around the boxes, which then shrinks to indicate the proper timing for the pose.

Timing Display

  • Perfect!/Ace!?: While crouching, the player crouches in sync with the others. When posing, the player's Dazzle has stars emitting from her finger, and the audience applauds. The girls are all happy.
  • Early!/Late!?: While crouching, the player crouches slightly out of sync. The yellow square in Rhythm Heaven Megamix doesn't appear (despite this, it spontaneously appears in time for the pose). When posing, the player's Dazzle poses slightly out of sync, causing no reaction from the audience. The other girls glare at her.
  • Miss...?: While crouching, the player's Dazzle either crouches when she's not supposed to, or misses the crouch entirely, ruining the routine. Either way, the other girls glare at her. If the player jumps when they're not supposed to, the other Dazzles stumble over and clutch their stomaches in embarrassment, cancelling the current routine.
