Flock Step (鳥の大群?, Tori no Taigun) is the 4th Rhythm Game of Stage 5 (24th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Fever and the 3rd of Songbird Land (25th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Gameplay
This game features a large flock of migrating Huebirds of Happiness stepping in rhythm. The player controls a pink one in-between a group of three other birds. When the birds squawk, all the Huebirds squat down and subsequently jump in time with each other.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix

- / Tap (Hold): Squat
- / Tap (Release): Jump
Timing Display
- Perfect!/Ace!?: The player steps and jumps in time with the others.
- Early!/Late!?: The player steps or jumps off the beat.
- Miss...?: The player bumps into the neighboring bird, looking surprised while the other bird looks annoyed. This may switch the footing pattern if the player continues without anymore breaks.

Trivia
- The large sphere with a smiley face from Rhythm Rally 2 in Rhythm Heaven makes a cameo during the zoom-out segment.
- Despite the sphere being redesigned to resemble the Cosmo Dancers in Cosmic Rhythm Rally in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, this change was not reflected in Flock Step.
- The Huebirds of Happiness later appear in Night Walk in Rhythm Heaven Fever, flying by in a huge flock partway through.
- In Rhythm Heaven Fever, upon points when birds need to take a step, if is being held, pressing makes player's bird crouch and make a surprised face as when + were pressed together at that point. This however, if is pressed at a precise timing as required in a Perfect Campaign, doesn't count as a miss nor fails the Perfect Campaign.
