Figure Fighter 3 |
This is it! The final bout for tiny, inflatable glory! Will you retire in triumph or disgrace?! |
Rhythm Heaven Megamix |
Figure Fighter 3 (マッスル人形 チャンピオン?, Muscle Ningyou Champion), known in Rhythm Heaven Fever as Figure Fighter 2 (マッスル人形2?, Muscle Ningyou 2), is the 1st Rhythm Game of Stage 10 (46th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Fever and the 3rd of Left-Hand Tower (78th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
The short version, Figure Fighter, appears in Machine Land in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
The long version, Figure Fighter 2, appears in Stage 3 of Rhythm Heaven Fever and Machine Tower in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Gameplay
The only changes to the game's appearance are recolored things. The Muscle Doll himself is now tan with red clothes, the punching bag is blue, and the background is mostly tan/yellow. The base gameplay is the same, as the original; the player needs to puff up the doll as he punches to hit the bag, following the announcer's cues. However, the first part of the game has several cues for the player to make, while the screen is still black and partially darkened. This requires the player to not get caught off guard, and hit the beats without visuals. The game's cues are mostly consecutive offbeat as well.
Controls
- Ⓐ/Tap: Press button
Timing Display
- Perfect!/Ace!?: The button is pressed at the right time, making the doll buff up right as it jabs.
- Early!/Late!?: The doll doesn't buff up, instead making a popping noise.
- Miss...?: The doll punches without buffing up. If the player tries pressing the button when they're not supposed to, the doll buffs up briefly with a fart noise.
