Flipper-Flop (コロコロたんけん隊たい?, Korokoro Tanken-tai) is the 3rd Rhythm Game of Barbershop Land (21st overall) in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

The long version, Flipper-Flop 2, appears in Stage 5 in Rhythm Heaven Fever and Barbershop Tower in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

Gameplay

In this game, the expedition team, Captain Tuck and the Flippers, drills hard exploring the icy landscape. The player must flip to the beat of the song. Captain Tuck occasionally asks the seals to perform one or two flipper-rolls.

Controls

  • / Tap: Flip
  • / Tap: Flipper-Roll

Timing Display

  • Perfect!/Ace!?: The player flips on the beat. After a successful flipper-roll, Captain Tuck compliments the team.
  • Early!/Late!?: The player flips off the beat, causing a "tick" sound. The player's seal has a worried look on its face.
  • Miss...?: The player bumps into the other seals, causing it to get a silly look on its face while the other seals look annoyed. If the mess-up happens during a flipper-roll, Captain Tuck gets disappointed, counting the remaining flipper-rolls in an upset voice.
