The player controls a pink Huebird located in the center of the screen. It has to march in step along with the other Huebirds, marching is done by pressing A button. When one of the birds squawks, this is a cue for all the Huebirds to squat and jump in time with each other. To squat, hold A and B button, and to [[File:Flock_Step_3DS_Gameplay.PNG|thumb|200px]]jump, release both buttons at the same time.
