Night Walk (ナイトウォーク?, Naito Uōku), also known as the Credits in Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise, is the credits game in Rhythm Heaven Fever.
After clearing Remix 7, the player watches the credits, where Night Walk is played automatically, after which the cast of characters is shown. It is then unlocked alongside Samurai Slice 2 as a playable game of its own, although the player does not receive a Medal for obtaining a Superb on it, nor can they go for a Perfect.
Gameplay
This game plays similarly to the Rhythm Tengoku Rhythm Game of the same name.
The player controls Marshal, who reaches a set of boxes via balloons and he begins walking on them. Passing over them causes the boxes to open, with the dot in the middle turning into various things depending on the player's timing and the boxes themselves. Jumping off the block with the right timing causes a heart to appear, and a star to shine in the sky. This timing must be maintained through the game. Occasionally, two squares appear close together, requiring the player to roll off them. Doing so correctly causes a firework to go off.
During the game, the Staff Credits are displayed. At a certain point, Cam and Miss Ribbon appear, following Marshal. Further still, a flock of Huebirds of Happiness appear, with a transition to a green field at day time. At the end, Marshal and his friends arrive at the Café greeted by the Barista.
Controls
- Ⓐ: Jump
- Ⓐ+Ⓑ (Hold): Roll
- Ⓐ+Ⓑ (Release): High jump
Timing Display
- Perfect!/Ace!?: Marshal jumps from the box, spawning a heart. When rolling, he properly rolls on the first box, and jumps high from the second, letting off a firework.
- Early!/Late!?: Marshal jumps from the box, but the heart does not come out, with a red "Miss" over the box.
- Miss...?: Marshal walks over the box, sending out a music note. If the player does not jump from a box on the edge of a platform, Marshal will grab the ledge, and fall down as his friends watch in shock. If this happens, the game ends with a "Try Again".
