Spaceball |
Ignore the camera's wild zooms! Make the ball zoom wildly away! Don't blink! Don't wipe your tears! |
Rhythm Heaven Megamix |
Spaceball (エアーバッター?, Air Batter) is the 4th Rhythm Game of Stage 1 (4th overall) in Rhythm Tengoku and the 1st in Lush Tower (28th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
The arrange version, Air Batter 2, appears in Last Technician in Rhythm Tengoku.
Gameplay
In this game, the Air Batter hits baseballs that come out from a flowerpot in a small, green box in space. Ocassionally, the balls are shot higher up, requiring the player to wait an extra beat before hitting it. The Space Umpire sits in a UFO on the windowsill in the middle of the box. The camera zooms in and out, sometimes very far, during gameplay.
In the middle of the game, while the Air Batter is hidden offscreen by the zoom, he appears to change into a pink/purple costume with a bunny mask. After this, the screen zooms way out, with him changing into a yellow/blue costume and a red spherical head mask which comically emotes as he swings. At the very end, a rice ball is shot out instead.
