Fork Lifter (くしざし?, Kushizashi) is the 1st Rhythm Game of the second stage (6th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Fever and the 1st of Shop No. 4 (100th overall), costing 10 Flow Balls, in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Gameplay
The player controls a human hand holding a fork. Very far away on the other side of the table, another hand is shown through a zooming bubble. When the game starts, the hand will flick peas towards the the player, who will have drop the fork to catch it at the right time. If food is successfully caught, it stays on the fork until the hand is lifted away and the person will eat the food offscreen. While the speed the peas move at is always the same, but how many and the spacing between them varies. At one point, the peas are replaced with pieces of a hamburger.
In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the only difference is that now the blank, white background has lines on the ground to help the player's eyesight.
Controls
- Ⓐ/Tap: Stab food
Timing Display
- Perfect!/Ace!: The fork will spear the food precisely on the center prong. If all the food on a forkful is gotten this way, the person will gulp down the food when it is eaten.
- Early!/Late!: The food will be caught in between two prongs, the two depending on if it was speared too early or late. If a piece of food is on a forkful this way, the person will cough when the food is eaten.

Two Player
Fork Lifter (くしざし?, Kushizashi) is the 1st Two-Player Rhythm Game in Rhythm Heaven Fever. It is unlocked after completing the one-player version, along with the Two-Player mode.
Similar to the original, players must catch speeding peas with a fork. P1 has a blue fork on the left and P2 has an orange fork on the right. The hand shooting peas is now in the center and shoots two peas at a time to both players. At some points, one of the forks will move off-screen, leaving only one player to catch peas.
Trivia
- The name "Fork Lifter" is an obvious pun to a forklift operator.
- This game was originally called "High-Speed Peas" as seen in preview versions of the game[citation needed].
- According to debug notes found in the files of Rhythm Heaven Megamix, this game, among others, would have a short variant in that game but got cut for unknown reasons.
- This game has slightly been upgraded in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, in which there are outlines added in the table, while the original didn't have those at all.
- This is likely to help the player judge distance better, especially due to the 3DS having a smaller screen.
- Unlike real-life forks (and more like a trident), the fork has 3 prongs instead of 4. This might be done to make the visual cues better.
