Catchy Tune 2 (かえってきた 階段キャッチ?, Kaettekita Kaidan Catch) is the 36th Rhythm Game and the normal variant of Catchy Tune that appears in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. Plalin and Alalin are once again catching oranges and pineapples, but on a tropical island this time.
Gameplay
The gameplay remains the same as for its prequel, but the background is now a tropical theme. More oranges and pineapples will bounce from the top of the stairs, as well. Press A to make Alalin catch any fruit from that side, and press the D-Pad for Plalin.
Controls
- Ⓐ/Tap: Catch as Araline
- ✚/Tap: Catch as Praline
Timing Notes
- Perfect!/Ace!: The kid catches the fruit. If Praline and Arline catch fruit at the same time, they will face each other, smile, and share a word bubble with a heart in it.
- Early!/Late!: The kid's hands will cross over, and the fruit will fall behind the their head.
- Miss...: The fruit falls on the kid's head, causing them to flinch.

Trivia
- Like in Catchy Tune, there are unused sprites of an apple, a peach, a monkey, a cat, a puppy, a kitten, and a coconut found in the sprite sheets.
- This game appears in the "Wario...Where? 2: The Sequel" Challenge Train. In this version, you play as Kat & Ana in place of Plalin and Alalin. Mona's scooter can be seen in the background.
- According to the debug menu, there was going to be a third game, likely named "Catchy Tune 3", but it was scrapped for unknown reasons.
