The playable character follows the rest of the girls in rhythm and is the supposed to be the last to crouch down in an ice-cube tray-like stage. The player holds the stylus against the touch screen once everyone else crouches down, then flicks in time to when everyone else has jumped.
In Megamix, the game has been redesigned to take advantage of the widescreen and 3D Effect of the Nintendo 3DS as the Dazzles are now placed in row from top to bottom rather than left to right in an ice-cube tray.
