Built to Scale 2 is the 3rd Rhythm Game of Stage 8 (38th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Fever.
Built to Scale 2 is the 38th minigame in Rhythm Heaven Fever. It is the sequel to Built to Scale. In this game, there are more widgets to assemble and the first widget in each pattern is on the offbeat.
Visual/Gameplay Changes
The background is now teal instead of green.
The gameplay is nearly identical to that of the first Built to Scale; bounce the rod when it hits the red block and shoot it into the Widget parts when they line up. The major difference is that the first rod that bounces eight times is late by half a beat, and three Widgets must be assembled in each sequence. The third one only bounces on two rods before requiring assembly. The speed of the song also changes as the third rod is bouncing, and stays until the next third rod of a sequence. This leads to the tempo changing many times throughout the song.
The long version, Built to Scale, appears in Stage 3 in Rhythm Heaven Fever and Shop No. 3 in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Gameplay
The gameplay is nearly identical; bounce the rod when it hits the red block and shoot it into the squares parts when they line up to form a Widget. The major difference is that the first rod of each pattern is on the offbeat, and an extra Widget must be assembled in each sequence. The third rod also bounces during the tempo changes. The background is now teal instead of green.
*Perfect!/Ace!: The rod is perfectly bounced and goes on another block. While pressing A+B, the spring hits the rod and hits squarely into the squares and connects them together.
{{Timing
*Early!/Late!: The rod slightly bounces on the block, turning a little and making a sound doing so. For shooting, the rod will slightly fall down while touching the spring.
|just=The rod bounces on. When launching the rod, it hits squarely in the center of the squares, connecting them.
*Miss...: The rod falls down on the block and never make contact with squares while rolling around and disappearing.
|miss=The rod is bounces on, wobbling in the air and making a sound. When launching the rod, it slightly falls down when touching the block.
