Rockers 2 is the 49th minigame of Rhythm Heaven. It is the sequel to Rockers.
The long version, Rockers, appears in the sixth stage of Rhythm Heaven.
Rockers 2 newly features the use of the R or L Trigger (R being used if the player is playing right-handed, and the L being vice versa) on the Nintendo DS to "bend" notes, similar to that of a whammy bar.
If the player has cleared Rockers 2 and has at least 35 Medals, The Guitar Lessons ★Technical Course★ is unlocked.

The gameplay is merely slightly more complex than the original as you have to use the new cue added in this gameplay. Press R or L Trigger (R being used if the player is playing right-handed, and L being used if the player is playing left-handed or vice versa) on your DS console to "bend" notes during the high note routine while flicking strum guitar and tap it to tune its strings after finishing "bending."
The gameplay is similar to before, though it utilizes more complicated patterns and adds pitch bending as a mechanic. This game notably features the use of the trigger buttons (🅁 being used in Righty mode, and 🄻 for Lefty mode) on the Nintendo DS to bend notes, similar to that of a whammy bar.

*J.J. Rocker double taps the guitar after each strum during the first few verses of the song, but it is not required to copy from it.
*This game is the only Rhythm Game to feature the use of button controls in Rhythm Heaven. It is also the only game to use 🄻 and 🅁 as mandatory inputs in the entire Rhythm Heaven Series.
* The four songs in the Technical Course of the Guitar Lessons use the note bending from this game.

*Rockers 2 is the only rhythm game to feature a control method aside from tapping and flicking as well as the only game using a button in Rhythm Heaven. It is also the only game to use the L and R buttons in the entire Rhythm Heaven Series.
*This is one of the four arrange versions in Rhythm Heaven to have a new cue and Practice section, the other being Fan Club 2, Rhythm Rally 2, and Fillbots 2.

*Like in Rockers, tapping on the screen causes the guitar to produce a sound as the player strikes a pose, preparing to strum. Although J.J. Rocker does these poses himself, sometimes doing it twice in rhythm, the player is not required to copy them.
*There was an unused sprite that was supposed to be used for the Superb screen. It shows the student with their eyes closed.
**Sliding the stylus around while posing causes the guitar to produce a muffled noise. This does not affect gameplay in any way. Performing the note bends causes a subtle noise to be heard as the student's hands slide across the strings.

***Attempting to bend the notes while not strumming still causes the student's hands to move, though this does not produce noise. If the student is posing, this animation also causes them to stand up, though this does not prevent the player from strumming.

You didn't play off each other well. You goofed up a lot. That performance didn't really gel. You didn't play in sync too well. That last part was just meh.
