Gameplay

Screenshot DS Built to Scale.png

The player shoots a rod through the center of the squares that pass by each other to create a Widget. To rhythmically succeed in this game, the player must follow the pattern "do-re-mi-fa-sol" with the music, flicking on "sol". In the middle part of the game, the screen becomes dark with a spot light, forcing the player to rely on the audio more than the visuals.

Controls

  • Tap (Hold): Prepare to flick
  • Tap (Release): Cancel
  • Flick: Flick rod

Timing Display

  • Perfect!/Ace!?: The rod hits both squares and connects them with a satisfying clink.
  • Early!/Late!?: The rod knocks the squares down, and only the rod itself goes down the conveyor belt.
  • Miss...?: The squares pass by and roll into the nearby slots, disappearing through them. If the rod is flicked at the wrong time, it flies offscreen really quick.
