Completing it successfully unlocks Drumming Lessons, Endless Games, Rhythm Toys, the Café, and Sneaky Spirits. Getting a perfect on this Remix earns you a gift called "Sound Effects Drum", which can be used in the studio.

(エクストラ　リミックス　ＴＥＭＰＯ　ＵＰ！^?, Extra Remix Tempo Up!) on the game selection menu, is a variant of this remix, as well as the final game in the Extra stage in Rhythm Tengoku (Arcade). The gameplay is the same, but the tempo is sped up with new orchestration to the music.

Trivia

• There is an unused version of 1st Remix which can be accessed through the debug menu of Rhythm Tengoku. In it, Tap Trial replaces Rhythm Tweezers and the remix itself is much longer. It can be seen here
• The epilogues for 1st Remix Tempo Up! appear to have inspired those of Remix 2 in Rhythm Heaven Fever.
• The song to 1st Remix Tempo Up! contains a leitmotif from the menu select song.
• The first time that The Clappy Trio or the tempo up version appears in the remix, the 3 is replaced with a 4, and there are 4 of them that time, keeping the same rules.
