'Fan Club 2' (うれっこアイドル urekko aidoru "famous idol"), also known in Rhythm Heaven as Fan Club 2 (アイドル aidoru " idol"), is the 34th minigame in Rhythm Heaven and the 77th minigame in Rhythm Heaven Megamix being the sequel to Fan Club. The stage and concert is more dressed up looking than the other one in Rhythm Heaven. In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the Pop Singer wears an animal suit and her friends in animal suits who appear as backup dancers will show up in the middle and join at clapping cues. The soundtrack is extended to its full length.

The game acts like the prequel, a new tactic is introduced in practice mode, though. When all the monkeys hands raise up, and everyone shouts "Ooooooh," in the background, that signals that all of the monkeys are going to quickly clap twice right after the Pop Singer's verse. The rest of the gameplay remains the same. In Megamix, the backup dancers, Pop Singer's friends, will show up to join in during the first verse, and the monkeys will hold shining sticks during clapping cues.

Controls

Button Mode

  • A Button: Clap
  • Hold A: Crouch
  • Release A: Jump

Simple Tap Mode

  • Tap: Clap
  • Hold Stylus: Crouch
  • Release Stylus: Jump

Timing Notes

  • Hit: The player claps along with the other monkeys.
  • Barely: The player monkey will clap/jump in time, but the other monkeys will look annoyed at him depending on if the player was late or early. A barely counts as a miss.
  • Miss: The other monkey fans in the front row will look at the player with irritated looks.

Skill Star

During the song Pop Singer sings "Then you and I would be together" there is an "Oooooooh" cue to do and clap perfectly the second one to collect the star.

Trivia

  • The full song Thrilling! Is This Love? from Fan Club originated from a Japanese pop group C-UTE.
  • The Pop Singer appears in the endless Munchy Monk in her Fan Club 2 attire.
  • At the end of the game, it is optional to clap at the end with the Monkeys.
  • This is one of the four sequels in Rhythm Heaven to have a new cue and tutorial, the other being Rhythm Rally 2, Fillbots 2, and Rockers 2.
  • This is the only one of the sequel games with remixed vocal music from the original version.
  • The Pop Singer has a different outfit instead of her original outfit from Rhythm Heaven in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
  • This one of the few games in Rhythm Heaven Megamix to get a major overhaul in it's graphics for it game compared to the original version of it from Rhythm Heaven.
