Air Batter Tempo Up!

Template:Game-Nav Template:Minigame infoboxAir Batter (Tempo Up) (エアーバッター Eabatta Tempo Up!), nicknamed Spaceball by fans, is identical to Air Batter from Rhythm Tengoku and it's the extra stage game in Rhythm Tengoku (Arcade). In this variant, the Air Slugger is colored blue and his 2 forms are different including a orange alien and a guy with a square head. The gameplay is the same, but the tempo is speed up.

Gameplay

This game has an odd design. The screen will often zoom out, making this scene difficult to see.

The game takes place inside a small yellow room with a flying saucer. As the music plays, a flowerpot will throw out baseballs, which the player must hit. The ball will hang in the air for either two or three beats, and the player must hit on the last beat to hit it. Occasionally, the screen will zoom out, requiring the player to track the ball using the music alone.

Controls

• A: Hit ball

Hit or Miss

• Hit: The ball flies offscreen.
• Barely: A "doink" is heard as the ball bounces out of the room. A barely counts as a miss.
• Miss: The ball falls in the hole in the floor.

Trivia

• Along with the rest of the first set, this game has a counterpart in the arcade version at 150% speed, with a more vibrant synth for orchestration. In this version, the Air Slugger is now blue and the background is yellow.
