See-Saw |
Seesaw inspectors do important work to ensure the safety of our children. Serious business. No shenanigans. |
Rhythm Heaven Megamix |
See-Saw (シーソー Shī Sō?) is the 3rd minigame in Rhythm Heaven Fever and the 69th minigame in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. This game involves two inspectors, See and Saw, who test out a seesaw to check if it's safe for children. They do this by jumping on it.
Gameplay
The game has two seesaw inspectors, See and Saw, "testing" a seesaw by jumping on it. The player controls Saw, the inspector on the right side of the seesaw. The other inspector jumps on the other side of the seesaw, sending you upwards. You need to stomp as you land on the seesaw, sending the other inspector flying upwards.
There are two main tempos in the song; jumping on the outer part of the seesaw, and jumping on the inner part. The inner part makes the inspectors go up a shorter distance than the outer part, making less time between stomps. The game will rapidly switch which part is being jumped on. Partway though the song, some jumps will launch either of the inspectors far above the seesaw, which makes them crash down. This has the same timing as jumping on the outer part.
Controls
- Ⓐ/Tap: Stomp
Timing Display
- Perfect!/Ace!: The inspector slams on his side of the seesaw while saying "bah-boom", launching his partner up.
- Early!/Late!: If on the middle, the inspector will slightly hit his head on the seesaw. If on the edge, the inspector lands on one foot and loses his balance for a moment. Counts as a miss.
- Miss...: If on the middle, the inspector smashes his head on the seesaw. If on the edge, the inspector falls and hits his bottom on the seesaw.

This may look like a plain triangle, but it's actually a pivot. My dad says that no amount of effort comes to anything without a pivot. Maybe I should be a pivot… |
Skill Star
The Skill Star appears during the high jumps, on the sixth landing the player makes.

Trivia
- The explosion particles at the end look like the viruses from Sick Beats in Rhythm Tengoku.
- In the Japanese version, See & Saw make different noises during random playthroughs, but they never make these in the international version.
- This game has a two-player mode in Fever where the second player plays as See and the first player as Saw, but it's unused and can be only modded to this game.
