Template:Game-NavTemplate:Minigame infoboxAir Rally 2 (かえってきた バドミントン Kaettekita Badominton, "Return of Badminton") is the 35th minigame and it's a sequel to Air Rally that appears in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. It is identical to Air Rally from Rhythm Heaven Fever. In this sequel, Baxter and Forthington flies though the sky as they play badminton on their planes in a faster pace.

Gameplay

The Gameplay is the exact same like in prequel, but the tempo of this game is faster and more complex. The game takes place on the sky now. To keep hitting a shuttlecock, the player must press A button to swing a racket and hit it to serve to Forthington. Also, he might signal the rhythm in three different cues. The normal one that goes slow and nothing happens, the altered one which Forthington shouts "Bu-bum bum bum!" while doing a normal one, and the return one when he counts "Two, Three, FOUR!" to revert the rhythm back to normal.

In addition to the altering of the rhythm, the game will attempt to visually mislead the player by having the two planes distance from each other, causing the shuttlecock to be hit harder and travel faster. However, the beat remains the same.

Controls

Button Mode

• A: Swing racket (hit shuttlecock)

Simple Tap Mode

• Tap: Swing racket (hit shuttlecock)

Timing Notes

• Hit: The player hit the shuttlecock back at Forthington.
• Barely: The player hits the shuttlecock, but it is knocked to the side, and Forthington serves another one. A barely counts as a miss.
• Miss: The shuttlecock flies past the player, and Forthington serves another one.

Rating Notes

• Try Again: "I blame you entirely for this."
• OK: "ANOTHER tied game?"
• Superb: "Outta my way, duck! I've got a rally to maintain!"

Skill Star

After you pass the boat in the background and the rhythm changes, hit the shuttlecock at the right moment the second time to collect the star.

Trivia

• There is no practice for this game, but there is a new one that changes distance between Forthington's place to far away while Baxter's place on his right side, making it difficult to hit shuttlecock at the same time.
• The second "Bu-bum bum bum!" has been changed to a new one in Megamix.
• Some of the clouds that distract your view from the evening and the night section in the original game of Rhythm Heaven Fever are missing in Megamix.
