Rap Men (ラップメン rappu men) is the 23rd unlockable minigame in Rhythm Tengoku featuring a thin, red man and a round, yellow man going by the group name Rap Men.

Gameplay

There are two characters in this minigame, neither of them going by names. You play as the yellow one on the right side of the screen. There are three main cues to press the A button. Pressing the A button makes the yellow one go "Unh!" (The three cues are the "Isn't it?" as "Unh!" once, "Could it be?" as twice and "THE BEST!" as "Unh!" twice again but faster)

Timing Notes

• Hit: The yellow rapper will say "Unh!" perfectly while creating a big smoke after hitting his belly and shocking the red one even.
• Barely: The yellow rapper will just say "Uh!" if he goes too early when the red one finishes rapping. A barely counts as a miss.
• Miss: The yellow rapper does not do anything after the red one finishes rapping and he will be upset and turn blue if you miss the cue.

Rhythm Toy

There is a rhythm toy called Beat Box that lets you make your own songs with the Rap Men.

Trivia

• The idea of blue for boys and pink for girls applies with the backgrounds of Rap Men and Rap Women.
• The Rap Men makes a cameo appearance in the Freeze Frame minigame in Rhythm Heaven, along with the Clappy Trio, the Space Dancers, and 3 monkeys from Tap Trial. There, they gather as a crowd watching the race and blocking the view of the cars for the camera man.

• In Rhythm Heaven, beating all the minigames unlocks "Battle of the Bands". On the flier, you can see sprites of both Rap Men.

• Also on the flier, you can find a number, which is: 555-ROCK-OUT. If you call this number on the Rhythm Toy "Phone", you can hear the same music as the original game had. You can also hear the red guy saying "Yo" and "Havin' fun". And you can hear the yellow one say "Unh!" repeatedly.

• In Rhythm Heaven Fever, getting a Perfect ranking on Love Rap 2 unlocks an article. It mentions that there are two twin quasars, called RAPMEN. Well, despite the fact they are definitely not twins.
• Ko Takeuchi (Rhythm Heaven's lead art designer) confirmed that he performed the lyrics.
