Gameplay
The three mice will be running across a very, very long kitchen table. In practice, they will give you signals when you stop behind a stack of plates, but in the real game, there are no signals. It's appearances in remixes though, have signals in them. There is a cat trying to catch you, and when the cat pops up, you hold A to stop behind a plate. The music will go quiet for a few seconds, and you will hear the music building up, and the mice are in a position that they're about to run. You let go of A at the right time to get a clean getaway.
Controls
- Hold A: Stop
- Release A: Go
Hit or Miss
- Hit: Nothing goes wrong and you get away from the cat.
- Barely: You jump a little when you hide, and when you run, there is a "boing"ing sound.
- Miss: You bump into one of the other two mice. When hiding the mouse you hit moves out of position, and when running, the mouse you hit does not run momentarily, but catches up fast.

Appearances
Rhythm Heaven Megamix
Template:Game-NavTemplate:Minigame infoboxRat Race (こっそりラット Kossori Ratto; nicknamed Cheese Heist by fans?) is a minigame from Rhythm Tengoku that returns and remade in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. The name was changed to Rat Race in the English version.
Gameplay
File:Cheese Heist gameplay 3DS.PNG The graphics of the game are now updated to be in the same style as Rhythm Heaven Megamix's artwork, and the 3D Effect of the Nintendo 3DS were added in this game to give more details. Unlike the GBA version, the brown mouse will give the player signals immediately rather than in the tutorial, and he will throw it near the end of the game anyway, so you must continue the routine without using it. The controls and the entire game itself are left original.
