Trivia
- The face Karate Joe makes when the final object is hit is re-used in later games. In Rhythm Heaven, it is used when he successfully does a kick in Karate Man 2. In Rhythm Heaven Fever, it is used in Remix 9 in a similar fashion to this one, where it shows up if the last object is hit. This face also exists unused in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
- Both this remix and Remix 1 (the game's first remix) begin with Marcher and close with Karateka.
- The epilogues are similar in concept to the ones in Machine Remix in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
- In the arcade version of Rhythm Tengoku, the second appearance of Tap Dance has the outline of the platform colored magenta instead of black. This error is not present in the GBA version of Rhythm Tengoku.
- This is the only Remix to introduce a new mechanic during the gameplay, with the みせてあげない♥ (No Peeking♥?) sign in Rhythm Datsumo.
- Strangely enough, updated sprites for the sign exist in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, but remain unused.
