Template:Game-Nav Template:Minigame infobox Rap Men (ラップメン^?, Rap Men) is the 23rd minigame in Rhythm Tengoku featuring a thin, red man and a round, yellow man going by the group name The Rap Men.

Gameplay

There are two characters in this minigame, both of them unnamed. You play as the yellow one on the right side of the screen. There are three main cues to press the A button. Pressing the A button makes the yellow one go "Unh!" (The three cues are the ですか？ (Desu ka?^?, Isn't it?) as "Un!" once, かもネ (Ka mo NE^?, could be) as twice and サイコー！ (Saikō!^?, The BEST!) as "Un!" twice again but faster)

Timing Notes

• Hit: The yellow rapper will say "Unh!" perfectly while creating a big cloud of smoke.
• Barely: The yellow rapper will just say "Uh!" if he goes too early or too late when the red rapper finishes rapping. A barely counts as a miss.
• Miss: The yellow rapper does not do anything after the red one finishes rapping. He will be upset and turn blue if you miss the cue.

Rhythm Toy

There is a rhythm toy called Beat Box that lets you make your own songs with the Rap Men.

Trivia

• The idea of blue for boys and pink for girls can be seen in the background color between this game and its sequel.
• The Rap Men makes a cameo appearance in Freeze Frame, along with the Clappy Trio, the Space Dancers, and 3 Monkeys. There, they gather as a crowd watching the race.
• In Rhythm Heaven, passing Remix 10 unlocks the "Battle of the Bands". On the flier, you can see the Rap Men. Also on the flier, you can find the phone number: 555-ROCK-OUT. If you call this number on the Rhythm Toy "Phone", you can hear the music this minigame. You can also hear the red guy saying "Yo" and "Havin' fun". And you can hear the yellow one say "Un!" repeatedly.
• The Rap Men make another cameo at the end of Love Rap and it's sequel, appearing as two framed pictures on the wall.
• Getting a Perfect ranking on Love Rap 2 unlocks an article. The US version mentions "those twin quasars of hip-hop, the RAPMEN."
• Ko Takeuchi (Rhythm Heaven's lead art designer) confirmed that he performed the lyrics.
