This is high-power table tennis, not for the faint of heart. If you want to win, you'll have to master the high-speed rally! |
Template:Game-NavTemplate:Minigame infoboxCosmo Rhythm Raly is the 87th game and it's a triquel to Rhythm Rally 2 that appears in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. It is identical to Rhythm Rally 2 from Rhythm Heaven. In this game, instead of the Paddlers, you're playing one of Cosmic Dancers and the table-tennis rally game takes place in outer space..
Gameplay
The gameplay plays the same way as its prequel, but the gameplay is extended longer and it's more complicated.
The camera angle is not fixed facing towards the opponent Cosmic Dancer the whole game like in Rhythm Rally 2. The angle adjusts constantly and moves in front of moving obstacles that will block the player's view, so this way it allows more of a challenge. There is a new tactic introduced in the tutorial. A clock ticking for eight quick beats signals that the rally ball is about to move at a very fast speed.
Controls
Button Mode
- A = Swing Paddle
Touch Mode
- Tap = Swing Paddle
Hit or Miss
- Hit: The player will hit the ball and successfully continue the rally.
- Barely: The player hits the ball of the table. If the ball is hit too early, it will veer to the right (when viewed from the right-handed perspective). If the ball is hit to late, it will veer to the left.
- Miss: The ball will bounce off the table towards the player. Whether it is a Barely or a Miss, the opponent paddler will serve another ball.
Rating Notes
- Superb: "Table tennis is the best use of a table yet devised!"
- OK: "Finally, a worthy challenger!"
- Try Again: "The agony of defeat!"

Trivia
- This is one of the triquels where you play different characters. Instead of the Paddlers, you have Cosmic Dancers playing table-tennis rally.
- Despite new characters filling in, this is technically the third version of Rhythm Rally to be featured. It shares this distinction only with Figure Fighter and Clappy Trio. While the characters originated from the GBA game, Rhythm Rally 2 is a DS game, and as such, it represents the DS selection, complimenting Figure Fighter being from the Wii selection, and Clappy Trio from the GBA selection.
