Trivia
- Karate Joe enters Honki (本気, Seriousness) mode at a point in this remix, removing his flow gauge and allowing him to punch rocks at any time. After hitting the final object, he returns to normal, doing a confident face. This face that he makes would later be re-used multiple times throughout the series.
- In Rhythm Heaven, it is used when he successfully does a kick in both Karate Man 2 and in that game's Remix 9.
- In Rhythm Heaven Fever, it is used in its Remix 9 in a similar fashion to this one, where it shows up if the last object is hit.
- This face also exists but goes unused in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
- Both this remix and Remix 1 (the game's first remix) begin with Marcher and close with Karateka.
- The epilogue is similar in concept to the one in Machine Remix in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
- In the arcade version of Rhythm Tengoku, the second appearance of Tap Dance has the outline of the platform colored magenta instead of black. This error is not present in the GBA version of Rhythm Tengoku.
- This is the only Remix to introduce a new mechanic during the gameplay, with the みせてあげない♥ (No Peeking♥?) sign in Rhythm Datsumō.
- Strangely enough, updated sprites for the sign exist in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, but remain unused.
