• The rating screens for this game influenced the rating screens for Remix 4 in Rhythm Heaven.
• This is the very first thematic remix in the Rhythm Heaven series, where most, if not all, minigames get a dramatic cosmetic makeover to fit the theme. In latter installments, almost all of the Remixes are thematic.
  • Mahou Tsukai is the only game to not have new graphics in this Remix.
