Ready, march! Following orders |
Template:Game-Nav Template:Game-Nav Template:Minigame infoboxMarching Orders (マーチャ?, Marcher), is the 3rd minigame in Rhythm Tengoku and the 67th minigame in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. In this game, the player controls a Cadet, who is undergoing marching training with three other cadets while following their Sarge's orders. The game's sequel, Marching Orders 2, is unlocked later on in Rhythm Tengoku.
Gameplay
The player controls a cadet on at the end of the line, and must follow the general's orders. There are four commands: March, Halt, Left Face Here, and Right Face Here. The player must perform these with proper timing. After a while, the cadets will be dragged offscreen, ending the game.
Controls
Button Mode
- A: March
- B: Halt
- Left: Left Face Turn
- Right: Right Face Turn
Simple Tap Mode
- Tap: Appropriate action
Timing Notes
- Hit: The player does the action at the proper time as the other cadets.
- Barely: The Sarge will angrily frown. A barely counts as a miss.

Template:Game-NavTemplate:Minigame infoboxMarching Orders also appears in the 2P mode of Rhythm Tengoku (Arcade) where it is referred to as Marching Orders 2P (マーチャ 2P?, Marcher 2P). It plays the same as the 1P version, but with a second player controlling the second cadet in the lineup.
Trivia
- In Rhythm Heaven's game Shoot-'Em-Up 2, the Shoot-'Em-Up Radio Lady who appears on the communicator is wearing a marching helmet.
- Along with the rest of Stage 1, this game has a counterpart in the arcade version at 150% speed, with a more vibrant synth for orchestration and different graphics.
- This is one of the few games in Rhythm Tengoku that has more than or equal to 3 commands while this one has 4 commands.
- This is one of a few games to have different rating screens of both versions, except to the Superb rating screen that keeps the same style as it did in the original.
- This is the only game in Megamix to use every button (the D-Pad, the "B" button and the "A" button).
