Trivia
- Both this remix and Remix 1 begin with Marcher and close with Karateka.
- Karate Joe enters 本気 (Honki?, Seriousness) mode in the middle of this remix, removing his flow gauge and allowing him to punch rocks freely. After hitting the final pot, he returns to normal, doing a confident face. This would be referenced in later games:
- In Rhythm Heaven, Karate Joe makes the same confident face after a successful kick in both Karate Man 2 and in that game's Remix 9, replacing the smile he would otherwise do.
- In Rhythm Heaven Fever, the ending of its Remix 9 has Karate Joe shown in silhouette in the dark similar to "honki" mode, and punching the last object returns the visuals to normal with him doing the confident face again.
- In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the confident face remains unused, with Father having his own unused version of it.
- This is the only Remix to introduce a new mechanic during gameplay, with the みせてあげない♥ (Misete Agenai♥?, No Peeking♥) sign in Rhythm Datsumō 2 and 本気 (Honki?, Seriousness) mode in Karateka.
- Interestingly, redesigned sprites for this sign, along with two new variations covering only half of the vegetable, exist unused in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
- In the arcade version of Rhythm Tengoku, the second appearance of Tap Dance has the outline of the platform colored magenta instead of black. This error is not present in the GBA version of Rhythm Tengoku.
- The epilogue is similar in concept to the one to Machine Remix in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
- This and the Left-Hand Remix are the only remixes to have zero games native to its stage appear in its Remix.
- Sections involving Rhythm Datsumō 2 last 8 beats before the tweezers come into view. In all other appearances, the tweezers come into view after 4 beats.
