Fruit Basket 2 (かえってきた フルーツバスケット Kaettekita Furutsu Basuketto "Return of Fruit Basket") is the 4th Rhythm Game of Machine Tower (41st overall) in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
The short version, Fruit Basket, appears in Machine Land.
Gameplay
The gameplay is the same as that of its prequel, but the background is now a street. Once again, you play as Courtney, and you must launch the fruits into the basketball hoops by pressing A at the right time. The apples and lemons from the first game are present in this sequel, along with a new fruit: melons. If you hear two whistles, a melon will come speeding by. Melons are launched on the third beat.
Controls
- Ⓐ/Tap: Poke upwards
Timing Display
- Perfect!/Ace!: The fruit successfully gets bounced and shoots onto the basketball net.
- Early!/Late!: The fruit bounces but misses the basket for being too late or too early.
- Miss...: The fruit is utterly missed and passes right by.
