Template:Game-Nav Template:Game-Nav Template:Minigame infobox Screwbot Factory (ロボット工場・ネジ^?, Robotto Koujou Neji), known in Rhythm Heaven Fever as Screwbot Factory (ロボット工場^?, Robotto Koujou), is the 2nd minigame in Rhythm Heaven Fever and the 103rd minigame in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. It features lifeless robots, called Screwbots, that move along a conveyor belt and need their heads screwed on properly. The game's sequel, Screwbot Factory 2, appears later during game progression, and is the eighth sequel to be unlocked.

The object of the game is to re-attach a Screwbot's head onto their bodies the correct way through rhythm. Screwing them on too tight or not enough will not make them function properly. The claw cues vary, but is usually four beats long. The claw grabs a Screwbot on the first and places it on the fourth. They need to be released three beats after. Occasionally, the cue will be only three-beats long, where the robot is dropped on the third beat, particularly on consecutive robots. White robots make an additional whistling cue when being lifted by the arm. The claw must grab the robot one beat after it has been placed and must be released two beats after.

Rhythm Heaven Fever

• A or B: Nudge claw left or right, respectively (serves no purpose)
• A+B: Drop claw (start screwing)
• Release A+B: Release claw (stop screwing)

Rhythm Heaven Megamix

Button Mode

• Hold A: Drop claw (start screwing)
• Release A: Release claw (stop screwing)

Simple Tap Mode

• Hold Stylus: Drop claw (start screwing)
• Release Stylus: Release claw (stop screwing)

Timing Notes

• Hit: Grabbing a Screwbots' head in time will cause the claw to start screwing immediately. Releasing at the right time will cause the robot to raise its arms and for a heart to light up on its body; this happens regardless whether the Screwbot was grabbed in time or barely. It will also shout "Oh yeah!" (Japanese: ヤッタ！ yatta!) for grey Screwbots, or "Let's go!" (Japanese: ヨッシャ！ yossha!) for white Screwbots.
• Barely: Barely grabbing the robot with the claw causes a popping sound to be made, and will briefly drag the Screwbot towards the claw before it starts screwing. Releasing the claw a bit too early makes the Screwbot's head stick a sideways position, with the Screwbot frowning. Screwing it on a bit too much causes the Screwbot's body to crack, sending it down the conveyor belt with blank white eyes and a dazed stance. A barely counts as a miss.
• Miss: Missing the Screwbot's head entirely causes it to go by on the conveyor belt. Hitting it too early or late when you start screwing causes it to fall over backward. Barely screwing on the Screwbot's head causes it to fall over sideways. Screwing the head on way too much causes the body to lift up and start turning, eventually sending the broken Screwbot down the conveyor belt as it falls over. In Fever, releasing only A or B knocks the robot to the right or left, respectively, leaving it only partially screwed.

Trivia

• Screwbot Factory greatly resembles the game Fillbots from Rhythm Heaven. Both are games where you help with the creation of robots, by screwing their heads on and filling them with oil, respectively.
• This is the only game in Rhythm Heaven Fever that gives a unique response when pressing the B button by itself.
• In the Japanese version, there is an engraving on the robot arm that brings the Screwbots up to the conveyor belt that said "安全第一" (anzendaiichi), which meant "safety first." This was removed in the American and PAL versions.
• Despite being the first game in Megamix, its icon is that of the 2nd game from Rhythm Heaven Fever.
• Screwbot Factory's Japanese title in The Best Plus was changed to Robot Factory: Screw (Japanese: ロボット工場ネジ) due to Fillbots being included with the same title, which became Robot Factory: Oil. The titles in other languages also had "screw" added to their name, except for the Spanish version, which keeps the same name like in Fever.
• This game has the most possible outcomes of either passing or failing in Rhythm Heaven Fever, where you could miss the bot entirely, knock it over, screw it on making a "pop sound," screw perfectly, screw the bot too loose making it fall over, screw it too much making it break, screw it barely too loose, or screw it barely too tight.
