This game | This game acts the same like in the first Shoot-'em-up, but the Blastronaut has been upgraded and it's now colored gray. Shoot-'em-up 2 (かえってきた シューティング Kaettekita shutingu "Return of shooting") is the 44th minigame and is a sequel of Shoot-'em-up in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. It's identical to Shoot-'Em-Up from Rhythm Heaven, not confusing the one from DS. It's intruder alert again, the Blastronaut needs your help to protect the Earth from the bad alien invaders. Let's shoot 'em up!
Gameplay
This game acts the same like in the first Shoot-'em-up, but the Blastronaut has been upgraded and it's now colored gray. A varying numbers of aliens are now appearing two times in three waves (Plus the final one which comes in three) on the screen one by one in groups. You need to shoot 5 to 8 aliens at the same time now by pressing A or even D-Pad. You must follow their rhythm when they come by one after another once the music reaches the end of its chorus by repeating the numbers of the appearing aliens. The spped of the game remains the same.

- Hit: The alien is destroyed completely
- Barely: The alien is only disabled, not completely destroyed. This counts as a hit.
- Miss: The alien damages the player's spaceship
