The main playable character is a dog that slices various things such as vegetables, tires, and frying pans. Getting a perfect on this one unlocks the gift called "Life of a Dog Ninja". The game returns in the Lush Tower in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

Gameplay

The objects can come into the screen from either side and be sliced when they reach the middle. They can also come in on both sides at the same time, but this doesn't change the timing, it just causes somewhat of a distraction. When a good slice is done, the object splits in half.

In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the background has been spaced out and recolored to take advantage of the Nintendo 3DS' widescreen.

Timing Notes

• Hit: The item is completely sliced in half.
• Barely: The item will bounce of of the blade, making a slight noise. A barely counts as a miss.
• Miss: The sword will completely miss the thrown item.

Trivia

• This is one of a few games to have different rating screens of both versions.
• The towers in the background look similar to the one's used in Ninja Bodyguard.
  • Which was also about slicing stuff. (In Ninja Bodyguard you slice arrows)
