Unused Content
The Space Kicker has a variety of unused animations:
- "Beat" and "Squat" depicting him doing said actions.
- "Sample" is a test animation of them kicking the ball with their hands up, then putting them down before doing a toe-kick while squatting, being essentially the reverse of how a "high kick, toe!" routine works. "Sample2" depicts the same thing, but with the kicker missing the toe-kick. Rather than looking up during the presumed high kick, the kicker simply puts their hands down as if kicking normally.
- "Beat2" shows the kicker doing the same beat animation as before, but with their hands to their sides this time.
- "TapR2" and "TapL2" show the kicker kicking the ball, with their hands to their sides. These are almost the same as "TossR2" and "TossL2" (used during high kicks) with the difference being the kicker's face is looking down rather than up.
- "MissL2" and "MissR2" are the animations for the kicker missing, but with their hands to their sides.
- "Squat2" shows the kicker squatting, with their hands to their sides.
- "KickR2" and "KickL2" show the kicker doing a toe-kick while squatting, and then standing up with their hands to their sides.
- "Sample3" and "Sample4" depict the same as the first two samples, but the kicker looks up during the high kick rather than putting their hands down. They also keeps their hands to their sides while missing in the latter.
There's also an unused sprite of the horse ride in Space Soccer 2, meant for the Superb epilogue.

In Rhythm Tengoku Gold, there is an extra voice clip saying "down", which plays during the second half of the Practice and in Remix 9, accompanying the sound of the ball being dispensed. This voice clip is removed in all other regions, even in Rhythm World which otherwise reuses the Japanese voice clips.
Miscellaneous
All voice clips used in the Japanese version were originally meant for the unused tapping rhythm game. they were later duplicated and reused for this game.
