Unused Content
In Samurai Slice, there are unused sprites of masks that resemble the ones used by the yōkai in Iai Giri and Samurai Slice from Rhythm Heaven, likely to be worn by the monsters in the Remix.
The spritesheet for Ringside contains an unused silhouette of The Wandering Samurai.
In Packing Pests, The "Double up!" signal for this Remix is never used, and as a result, is left in Japanese in Rhythm Heaven Fever and Rhythm World Wii, localized accordingly in the English, Italian and Spanish versions of Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise, and replaced with a placeholder "Let's go!" in the French and German versions. The Bonus from the end of Packing Pests remains in Japanese in the Remix 4 version (where it goes unused) regardless of language.
Regional Differences
The following icons are used to represent Remix 4:
In Rhythm World Wii, the guard seen in the Try Again epilogue is redesigned to look more like "pojol" (Korean police during the Joseon period), and is holding a baton instead of a jitte, likely to avoid references to Japanese culture.

|
The text displayed at the beginning of Samurai Slice reads "There are mountains that a samurai must climb." in Rhythm Heaven Fever and "There are roads that a samurai must travel." in Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise. Interestingly, the three parts of the text are timed to the music. A fourth part is also intended to be displayed, however no such part is shown in most versions. In the Japanese, French and Korean versions however, there is one; it is simply The Wandering Samurai signing his name, while the text itself is written from his perspective. Also, In Minna no Rhythm Tengoku, the text is written vertically, but in the other releases, it's written horizontally.
