A collection of games from the Game Boy Advance version of Rhythm Paradise, updated for Wii. |
— Extra Games description, Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise Official Website
Extra Games (エクストラゲームズ?, Ekusutora Gēmuzu) is a place at the Medal Corner in Rhythm Heaven Fever where four Rhythm Games from the first installment of the series, Rhythm Tengoku, return updated for the Wii. They can be unlocked by collecting Medals. As they are not part of the regular Rhythm Games, they do not give Medals and no Perfect Campaign can happen on them.
List of Games
The Clappy Trio Medals Needed: 35 |
Sneaky Spirits Medals Needed: 38 |
Power Calligraphy Medals Needed: 41 |
Tap Trial Medals Needed: 44 |
Trivia
- The "Extra Games" music is a remix of "Game Select" from Rhythm Tengoku.
- The games' Practice sessions are kept the same as they were in Rhythm Tengoku (aside from Power Calligraphy adopting the standard Practice Theme rather than the unique oriental one it shared with The☆Bon Odori) rather than conforming to Rhythm Heaven Fever's standards, where each game has its own Practice Theme and a demonstration if the player is taking too long.
- All four of these games return in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, being directly based on their appearances here.
- Drum Lesson in Rhythm Tengoku and Guitar Lessons in Rhythm Heaven occupy the same spot in their respective Medal Corners.
- Samurai Drummer makes a cameo in the Extra Games icon.
- As Rhythm Tengoku was not released outside of Japan, these remakes are the first time these Rhythm Games have been playable in other regions.
