Unused Content

There are various unused animations:

  • "baton_torch_fall" depicts the torch falling over, meant for if the player fails to catch it.
  • "baton_onion_run" and "baton_cabbage_run" show the vegetables running while presumably carrying the torch.
  • "baton_onion_receive" and "baton_cabbage_receive" shows the vegetables receiving the torch and passing it over.
  • "baton_onion_receive_failed" and "baton_cabbage_receive_failed" show the vegetables being shocked and sweating upon failing to receive the torch.
  • "baton_onion_give" and "baton_cabbage_give" have the vegetables give the torch to the next one in line.
  • "baton_onion_give_failed" and "baton_cabbage_give_failed" show the vegetables shocked and forming a sweatdrop while failing to give the torch.
  • "baton_cabbage_receive02" shows the cabbage receiving the torch and passing it over. Due to the unfinished nature of the game, only the onion plays its animation for this.
  • "baton_onion_receive_failed02", "baton_cabbage_receive_failed02", "baton_onion_give02", "baton_cabbage_give02", "baton_onion_give_failed02" and "baton_cabbage_give_failed02" are all smoother versions of the above mentioned animations, using 60 frames. Due to the unfinished nature of the game, "baton_onion_receive02" is the only one of these animations that gets played.
  • "baton_onion_receive_run", "baton_cabbage_receive_run", "baton_onion_receive_run_failed" and "baton_cabbage_receive_run_failed" depict the vegetables preparing for a running start, and running off with the torch.
  • There are sprites of a tomato and potato body which aren't used, nor have any assembled animations.
  • The background contains a city which never appears, and a "ROUTE ♪" sign which was repurposed for Toy Car.
