Rhythm Heaven: The best + is the fourth game in the Rhythm Heaven franchise. It will be released June 11th, 2015 in Japan, and has yet to be announced for an international release.

This game will include 70 minigames from the previous three Rhythm Heaven games, and 30 new minigames will be added.

Story Mode

In the storymode of this game, the player helps a character named Tebiri back to their hometown by playing and beating each rhythm based minigame that is presented to the player. It seems old games that were taken from previous titles now have different music, rhythms and also themes. A game could possibly have more than one new theme.

Co-op Mode

This game will feature co-op, in the form of being able to play specific minigames in an up to four player mode. This will use the Download Play feature, meaning some games can be played even if only one person owns the game.

List of minigames that will appear

Majority of the games appear in Story Mode, where they are grouped into places of four: one Rhythm Tengoku game, one Rhythm Heaven game, one Rhythm Heaven Fever game, and one new game.

You will first go through the normal Groups, which all have new music based on the old minigames, and based on the new minigames.

Next, you will go through Origin Groups, which are based on the original groups, but with the original music and gameplay. These are considered harder than Groups.

After that, Heaven Groups are shown, which take place in Rhythm Heaven. These stages are considered harder than the Origin Groups.

Finally, there are the Heaven Tower Groups, based on the three towers at the end of the game. These are the hardest minigames in the entire game, which include sequels.
